Seawater Aquaculture Industry Dissolved Oxygen Monitoring Project

Dissolved oxygen refers to molecular oxygen in water, usually recorded as DO, expressed in milligrams of oxygen per liter of water and saturation percentage. The solubility of oxygen in water varies with temperature at a given pressure, and also with pressure at a given temperature. The solubility of oxygen decreases with the increase of salt content, and when the total salt content is below 35g/kg, there is a linear relationship between the two. The dissolved oxygen content of aquaculture needs to be kept within 5~8mg/L. Seawater has a high salt content, so when measuring the dissolved oxygen value, the measured value needs to be corrected according to the salt content. Therefore, usually in the mariculture industry, it is necessary to monitor the salinity value while monitoring the dissolved oxygen.
