Chlorophyll is an important photosynthetic pigment in plant photosynthesis, which can be divided into four categories: a, b, c, and d. Chlorophyll is insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents, such as ethanol, acetone, ether, chloroform, etc.; chlorophyll is not very stable, and it will be decomposed by light, acid, alkali, oxygen, oxidant, etc.;? chlorophyll a exists in all phytoplankton, accounting for about 1% to 2% of the organic dry weight. Chlorophyll a itself is not harmful to the environment, but it is an important indicator for estimating the biomass of phytoplankton. By measuring the content of phytoplankton chlorophyll a in the water, the primary productivity and eutrophication level of the water body can be grasped. In environmental monitoring, chlorophyll a Content is one of the indicators to evaluate the eutrophication of water body. The DUC2-CHL Chlorophyll Controller can be connect with the Chlorophyll Sensor to realize the monitoring of water chlorophyll a.

Features Of Chlorophyll controller

Daruifuno's chlorophyll analyzer uses the characteristics of chlorophyll fluorescence to excite chlorophyll a in water with a 470nm light source to produce fluorescence, and measure the fluorescence intensity in the range of 660 to 700nm to calculate the concentration of chlorophyll a in the water.
