Chloride ion (Cl-) is an ion produced after chloride dissolves in water. The concentration of chloride ion is an important indicator to measure the content of disinfectant in swimming pool water. Excessive chloride ion content may have a negative impact on human health and irritate the skin and eyes , Difficulty breathing, etc. Therefore, it is very necessary to monitor and control the chloride ion content in swimming pool water in real time to ensure that the water quality meets hygienic standards and provide a safe and comfortable swimming environment. The Chloride Ion Sensor developed and produced by Daruifuno adopts the principle of ion selection method, which can monitor the chloride ion content of water quality in real time online. The chloride Ion Sensor is composed of chloride ion glass electrode and Ag/AgCl reference electrode, with stable signal and high precision. With the chloride ion controller, the monitoring data can be connected to the recorder through the 4-20mA output to realize remote monitoring and recording, or use the RS485 interface to easily connect to the computer through the Modbus protocol for monitoring and recording. The controller has 2 relay interfaces, which can set high and low alarms.
Principle
Silver chloride is often used as an ion-selective electrode material in chloride ion sensors. When chloride ions enter the sensor, they react with silver chloride to form a water-insoluble precipitate of silver chloride. The concentration of chloride ions can be measured indirectly by measuring the change in potential across the electrodes.
