Overview
The DUC2-CHL online chlorophyll analyzer is an advanced water quality monitoring system designed to precisely measure and control the chlorophyll content in water through the integration of an online controller and a dedicated Chlorophyll Sensor. Leveraging the chlorophyll fluorescence phenomenon, initially observed by missionary Brewster in 1834, where strong sunlight caused the ethanol extract of laurel leaves to exhibit complementary colors of green and red, this analyzer utilizes a 470nm light source to stimulate chlorophyll a in water, generating fluorescence within the 660 to 700nm range. This fluorescence intensity is then measured to calculate the concentration of chlorophyll a. This innovative analyzer boasts a range of features, including compatibility with all Daruifuno digital chlorophyll sensors, enabling the CHL controller to query sensor status and serial numbers. It supports versatile installation methods and offers time and historical data recording functionalities. The system features a 3.2-inch large LCD screen with an intuitive English interface, allowing for easy operation. A customizable password system prevents unauthorized access and potential misoperations. Additionally, it incorporates two SPST multi-function relays for dosing control, two active 0/4~20mA current loop outputs, and an RS485 interface with Modbus RTU communication protocol for seamless integration. With an IP66 waterproof rating, the sealed housing ensures protection against pollution and corrosive gases. Furthermore, both the controller and sensor come with detailed setting lists for quick and comprehensive parameter adjustments. Overall, the DUC2-CHL online chlorophyll analyzer represents a comprehensive solution for the vital monitoring of chlorophyll levels in aquatic environments.
