A cooling tower is a device used to reduce heat in industrial equipment, power plants, and other large building. They lower the temperature of the water by bringing it into contact with air. In a circulating water system, water is used to cool the heat generated in equipment or processes. The hot water first flows into the top of the cooling tower through pipes, and is then dispersed into a thin water film, which is evenly distributed through fillers or nozzles in the tower. At the same time, through the action of fans or blowers, the air in the cooling tower flows through the water film and takes away the heat. 1. pH value: refers to the acidity and alkalinity of water, which is very important for the operation and corrosion control of cooling towers. 4. Total hardness: Hard water contains high concentrations of calcium and magnesium, which can cause scaling and corrosion problems.

5. Total alkalinity: It is the total amount of alkaline substances in the water, which has an important impact on the corrosion control and scale formation of the cooling tower.

6. Chlorine content: chlorine is a commonly used disinfectant, but high concentrations of chlorine can have a negative impact on the cooling tower's metal components and microbial growth. Use residual chlorine sensors to monitor the chlorine content of water quality, and we also provide matching residual chlorine online controllers.

7. Total number of microorganisms: microorganisms in the cooling tower can lead to the formation of biocorrosion and biofouling, and the total number of microorganisms needs to be monitored.

8. Organic matter content: It is the nutrient solution for microbial growth. High concentrations of organic matter can cause excessive growth of microorganisms.
